AQIP Accreditation Documents

The Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) infuses the principles and benefits of continuous improvement into the culture of colleges and universities by providing an alternative process through which an already-accredited institution can maintain its accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

With AQIP, an institution demonstrates it meets Accreditation standards and expectations through a sequence of events that align with those ongoing activities that characterize organizations striving to improve their performance. These activities include Improvement Projects, participation in Strategy Forums hosted by the HLC, submission of self-evaluations or portfolios, and campus visits.

As part of our last accreditation cycle, we created the 2009 Systems Portfolio, which described our college’s processes and provided the results of those processes at that time. In lieu of an updated Portfolio in 2012, we submitted an Application for the WI Forward Award, a Baldrige-based state award.

We received constructive feedback from both the Portfolio and the Application that we then used as part of our planning processes when we began our new Accreditation cycle in 2013. Because these documents are now considered archives as we build our 2015 Systems Portfolio, these pages are not updated.
