Measures and Outcomes
MATC's strategic planning process integrates assessment, planning, and research functions that encourage continuous improvements. One approach is to use key performance indicators (KPIs) and collecting associated data to assure that the college measures and monitors progress over time, adjusting strategic planning objectives, strategies and tactics as needed.
On a college-wide basis, dashboard slides are used as performance indicators that "tell the college story." Special attention is given to comparative performance, where relevant and feasible. They are presented publicly at Board of Directors meetings throughout an academic year and are provided below:
- Student Demographic Trends
- Enrollment Trends
- Student Success Trends
- Student Retention Trends
- Student Persistence Trends
- Student Satisfaction Trends
- Employee Satisfaction Trends
In 2011 and 2012, a college portal system is being developed which will display dashboard indicators and data for the various institutional processes associated with finance, human resources, student services, etc.
