Help with Initial Blackboard Login
- Beginning January 2, 2013, new students must activate their MATC network account before they can login to their MATC e-mail, the MATC Online Orientation, myMATC and other computer applications. Go to Activate My MATC Account to setup your account access.
- Please Note: It will take a minimum of 24 hours from the time you register until your account is active in Blackboard.
- Before Attempting to login to Blackboard for the first time, please log into your MATC Google Gmail account. To begin using your email account, go to http://matc.edu/ and click the "Gmail" icon. For more information about using your school e-mail, please visit the Gmail Help link
Blackboard Usernames and Passwords
Username Students:
Your username is your 7 digit student id number.
Your student id number is found on your class schedule. If you do not have a copy of your class schedule, you can print another using the INFOnline link on the MATC Homepage.
Username Faculty or staff:
Your username is your 7 digit COSMO id number.
Password Students:
Your default password for Blackboard is a combination of the first letter of your first name, first letter of your last name, 2-digit month, and 2-digit day of birth. Example: ab0227
If unsuccessful, you may not have given the college your birth date when you registered; in this case the password is your initials followed by 9999. Example: ab9999.
Password Faculty or Staff:
