Academic Support

Students may use these academic services offered at MATC to support their learning.

Academic Support Centers

MATC offers 8 unique Academic Support Centers. Each center is staffed with people who can help you achieve your academic goals. Please see the Academic Support Center webpage for hours and locations.

When planning to visit an Academic Support Center, please make sure you bring your MATC Stormer Pass and review the Print Policy if you decide to print or make photocopies.

Advising Services

Most students are assigned an advisor who is also an instructor from their program. Regularly consulting with your advisor is your best resource for planning your course of study and staying informed of registration and graduation requirements. For more information about counseling, review the resources below or send an email to  advising@matc.edu.

  • Walk-in Tutoring, available in the Academic Support Centers.
  • The Homework Helpline, which is telephone tutoring for Accounting and Math students.
  • The Online Tutor, or email tutoring available in most subject areas.
  • And the Online Writing Lab (OWL), which helps students with writing.
